What is a CCTV Drain Inspection?

When the cause of a drainage problem is beneath the surface and cannot be seen a CCTV camera can be inserted into your drainage pipework. This process is called a CCTV survey or inspection and allows us to see exactly where and what the problem is. These findings are made available to be viewed either online or on a dvd and include Drain sections viewed, individual line sheets of each section videoed, asbuilt drainage drawings and a report of our findings, recommendations and potential issues. All of which is made available to be stored with the property files.

CCTV is also useful to identify issues in a drainage system before they become more serious and can be extremely important in assessing the condition of a drainage system of a new property you may be thinking of purchasing. A pre - purchase drainage report is highly recommended before purchasing any property to eliminate the guesswork and avoid hidden costs which may not be covered by insurance post sale.
